Manufakturet has three Ultimaker 3 printers capable of a 215 x 215 x 200 mm build volume and these, when installed in the lab, will be the most readily available for use.
There are also three Up Plus 2 printers and a Form SLA printer which are under maintenance and/or planned for future installation.
Intro Course
Staff and students are required to attend an introduction course before using the Ultimaker 3 printers.
To sign up for an intro course students should physically drop by Manufakturet, in groups of 5, and arrange a date and time with either Peter or Jesper.
You will need a laptop, pre-installed with the latest version of Cura.
3D Printer Set-up
The 3D printers in the lab are fitted out with a range of materials. Be sure to match the existing 3D printer set up with the settings within Cura.
Do not attempt to change the settings on the printers themselves, or change the actual filaments.
Materials, Prices and Payment
We charge a set starting fee of 10 Kr, plus a per gram fee determined by the materials being used.
You can see the weight of your print in Cura, before printing:
After ’slicing’ your print in Cura, the weight of the print and the length of filament will be displayed.

If your print is unsuccessful, please make an estimate of the amount of material used and pay accordingly.
